Mobile Phone's Improper Use Prevention(PDF) Once you have read and understood the "Rental Rules" information below, please press the "Agree" button and proceed to the application form. 1. Scope of contract The duration of this agreement is for the rental period specified in the Mobile Phone. Rental Application Form (hereinafter "Mobile Phone Rental Agreement"). Extensions are possible only where the contractor (or Signatory if signed by a corporation) submit application for extension prior to the Mobile Phone Rental Agreement. Rental fees paid at the time of application are not refundable in cases where rental phones are returned the termination of the rental period. In cases where there are delays in returning a rental phone or any other equipment, we may take the following actions: If your return of equipment is delayed: <1> For more than 24 hours, them we will stop service. <2> For more than 48 hours, then we will report your phone as lost or stolen, and automatically charge you a fee of 26,250 yen. 2. Lost, Stolen or Damaged The Customer must notify us immediately regarding lost, stolen, or damageditems during our business hours. The Customer will be charged the full replacement value for any missing or stolen handsets and equipments.(Up to 10,500Yen when insured)The Customer will be also charged repair price for damage part about a case damaged with a telephone and accesories.(Free when insured)Furthermore, the Customer will be charged for the Rental and the Air timefees for the subscribing periods until notified. 3. Scope of Liability Note that in some limited areas, you may be unable or have difficulty using our service due to interference. (Please contact our representative for more details. Please note that fees paid at the time of application is not refundable.) In addition, it is recommended that you use regular telephones for important matter, as our service is vulnerable to monitoring. We do not assume any liability for problems or damages incurred by the use of our service. 4. Guarantee of Payment For usage under a credit card, we will reserve the total amount of fixed rental rate and calling rate (\3150/day) as a security deposit. If the credit card cannot be processed during the rental period, your account will be suspended temporarily. You will be charged to restart the service. For long term rental, the amount applicable may be charged periodically. 5. Rules and Regulations We calculate the calling time with the function of our rental mobile phone itself and therefore we are not able to provide Contractor with the detailed phone statement. When a special call such as collect call, call forwarding, special call that doesn't count call time in the mobile phone is dialed, Contractor will be charged afterwards. Contractor is not able to change any settings out of our mobile phone manual nor list the phone number in public printing. It is not allowed to detach a SIM card or Contractor will be charged 31,500 Yen (Including consumption tax) as a penalty and the call rate will be four times as the normal call rate. 6. Jurisdiction For any legal dispute concerning this agreement, the Tokyo District Court will be used as the court with the original jurisdiction. *SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)is a security method for protecting contents of web communication using data encryption technology.
